Texas High School Softball - New Diana sneaks past Sulphur Springs
March 10, 2025: Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 The New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) softball nipped the host Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX), 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harmony for a 3A Region II District 15 outing on Thursday, March 13. New Diana will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Sulphur Springs moves to 13-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Paris (Paris, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 15 outing on Wednesday, March 12. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 0-10. Paris lost 21-1 in their recent non-league outing against Bonham (Bonham, TX)
