Louisiana High School Softball - Chalmette bounces Albany
March 11, 2025: Albany, LA 70711 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) and the host Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), observed Chalmette's softball team prevail over Albany by a tally of 19-6.
The Owls (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Northshore knocked off Salmen (Slidell, LA), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 12. Albany will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 16-7 non-league win over Southside (Youngsville, LA).
