March 12, 2024: Walnut Cove, NC 27052

South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 4-1 in a league test.

With the win, South Stokes upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Sauras travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to battle the Phoenix in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 13. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 2-4. McMichael lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)

With the defeat, Alleghany falls to 0-4 on the season. The Trojans host South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to battle the Sauras in a Northwest 1A test on Thursday, March 14. The Sauras come into the test with a record of 1-4. South Stokes lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against McMichael (Mayodan, NC)
