Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Vikings host Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 13. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-2. Swansboro lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Laney (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, North Brunswick falls to 2-1 on the season. The Scorpions travel to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 13.
