Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Ashley upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Screaming Eagle host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to battle the Trojans in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 10-9. West Brunswick lost 3-0 in their recent league test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, Hoggard falls to 16-3 on the season. The Vikings host Laney (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 23. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 6-10. Laney won 7-1 in their recent league test against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
