North Carolina High School Baseball - Wheatmore defeats Trinity
March 14, 2025: Trinity, NC 27370 In Friday's league game, the host Wheatmore Warriors baseball team scored a close 13-7 victory over the Trinity Bulldogs.
The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers enter the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Randleman held off Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 5-0, in a league game.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, March 18. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 6-2 league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
