In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting First Flight Nighthawks lacrosse team scored a close 8-6 victory over the Kellam Knights.

With the victory, First Flight advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Nighthawks host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Cardinals in a Conference 1 game on Thursday, March 19. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 4-0. Jacksonville won 14-6 in their recent league game against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC)
