Pennsylvania High School Softball - Hanover Area succumbs to Northwest Area

March 18, 2025: Hanover Township, PA 18706

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), by a tally of 19-2.

Next, the Rangers clash with the Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Northwest Area will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA).

The Hawkeyes (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Weatherly (Weatherly, PA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Weatherly overcame Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA), 18-3, in a non-league challenge.
