The Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), 9-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Cardinals now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Parkwood for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Union Academy will encounter a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 3-4.
