Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 14-4 in a league game.

With the victory, Apex advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to play the Capitals in a non-league game on Friday, March 21. The Capitals come into the game with a record of 5-2. Broughton won 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)

The Patriots now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broughton for a non-league game on Monday, March 24. Apex Friendship will play a Capitals team coming off a 17-3 non-league loss to Apex (Apex, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 5-3.
