In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Apex Cougars lacrosse squad scored a good 16-4 triumph over the Panther Creek Catamounts.

The Cougars (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons go into the Southwest Wake contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Green Hope knocked off Green Level (Cary, NC), 21-9, in a league contest.

Next, the Catamounts meet the Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC) in a Southwest Wake contest, on Thursday, May 1. Panther Creek will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the contest with a 19-1 record after their 21-7 league win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC).
