March 20, 2025: Wallingford, PA 19086 The Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) lacrosse routed the host Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA), 12-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Upper Dublin for a Suburban One - American outing on Monday, March 24.
With the loss, Strath Haven falls to 0-1 on the year. The Panthers host Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to face the Pioneers in a Central outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Pioneers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Conestoga lost 8-4 in their recent non-league outing against Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA)
Game Summary
Springfield got off to a 6-0 lead after the first quarter with help from a number of their big playmakers. They tallied up another 6 goals to take a 12-0 lead going into halftime. The game was unfortunately called during halftime due to weather, giving the Cougars a 12-0 Victory over Strath Haven.
