The Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Cowboys now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Southwest Guilford will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 8-2 league loss to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Northern Guilford drops to 8-3 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Northwest Guilford won 14-5 in their recent league challenge against Page (Greensboro, NC)
