In Monday's league challenge, the host Bishop McGuinness Villains lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-2 triumph over the West Stokes Wildcats.

The Villains (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons go into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, R.J. Reynolds held off Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC), 16-6, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. West Stokes will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Bison go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 16-2 league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC).
