Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 16-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Queen's Grant upgrades its record to 11-0 on the year. The Stallions host Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. The Lions enter the game with a record of 6-6. Hickory Grove Christian won 24-3 in their recent non-league game against Monroe (Monroe, NC)

The Redhawks now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Hickory Grove Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. Monroe will play a Lions squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.
