The Homer-Center Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host United Lions to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Penns Valley Area for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Homer-Center will clash with a Rams team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Rams record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, United drops to 1-1 on the year. The Lions travel to River Valley (Blairsville, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a Heritage test on Thursday, March 27. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-3. River Valley lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)
