March 25, 2025: Lake Charles, LA 70611 The Sam Houston Broncos triumphed over the visiting Southside Sharks softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Broncos play the St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. Sam Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 19-2 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 14-4 league win over Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA).
The Sharks (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 11-12 record. In their last challenge, David Thibodaux overcame Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 16-0, in a league challenge.
