In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) baseball squad the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a tally of 5-0.

Next up, the Pumas encounter the Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, AZ) in a 6A Premier bout, on Monday, March 31. Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 12-4 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ).

The Sabercats (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats enter the 4A Desert Sky bout with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Mesquite edged Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ), 19-0, in a non-league bout.
