The Northeastern Eagles baseball squad (Elizabeth City, NC), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC)

With the triumph, Currituck County moves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Manteo (Manteo, NC) to face the Redskins in a non-league battle on Friday, March 27. The Redskins enter the battle with a record of 6-4. Manteo won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Bertie (Windsor, NC)

Next, the Eagles face the First Flight Nighthawks (Outer Banks, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A battle, on Tuesday, March 31. Northeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Nighthawks enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 12-0 league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC).
