First Flight Nighthawks (Outer Banks, NC) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 10-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, First Flight advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Nighthawks host Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 7-7. Nash Central lost 8-0 in their recent league match against Bunn (Bunn, NC)

With the defeat, Northeastern drops to 1-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Gates County (Gatesville, NC) to play the Red Barons in a non-league test on Saturday, April 4. The Red Barons go into the test with a record of 5-4. Gates County won 8-5 in their recent league test against Holmes (Edenton, NC)
