The Classical Purple lacrosse team (Providence, RI), was overwhelmed 13-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI)

With the victory, Rogers advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to encounter the Mariners in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 2. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Purple now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 4 battle on Friday, April 4.
