The Purple now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division 4 outing on Friday, April 25. Classical will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, North Providence falls to 1-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to face the Thunderbolts in a Division 4 outing on Monday, April 28. The Thunderbolts go into the outing with a record of 0-7. Cranston East lost 10-1 in their recent league outing against East Providence (East Providence, RI)
