The Rogers Vikings lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Classical Purple to 0 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston East for a Division 4 challenge on Friday, May 2. Rogers will clash with a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Classical falls to 2-4 on the year. The Purple travel to East Providence (East Providence, RI) to clash with the Townies in a Division 4 challenge on Wednesday, April 30. The Townies go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. East Providence lost 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI)
