The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Nighthawks now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hertford County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 1. First Flight will clash with a Bears team coming off a 8-2 league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-11.

With the defeat, Camden County drops to 6-4 on the year. The Bruins travel to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Northeastern won 8-2 in their recent league challenge against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)
