The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) baseball trounced the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 21-6 in Friday's league challenge.

The Nighthawks now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Holmes for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 8. First Flight will clash with a Aces team coming off a 11-10 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Aces record now stands at 12-2.

With the defeat, Hertford County drops to 1-13 on the year. The Bears host Camden County (Camden, NC) to clash with the Bruins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Bruins go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Camden County won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
