First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 13-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, First Flight advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Nighthawks host Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 10-3. Perquimans won 4-3 in their recent league match against Tarboro (Tarboro, NC)

The Bears now have a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host First Flight for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Friday, April 4. Hertford County will battle a Nighthawks squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 7-5.
