March 28, 2025: Billings, MT 59101 Laurel Locomotives (Laurel, MT) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Lockwood LIONS (Billings, MT), 13-4 in a league game.
With the triumph, Laurel improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Locomotives host Park (Livingston, MT) to face the Rangers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. The Rangers enter the game with a record of 1-0. Park won 11-9 in their recent non-league game against Butte Central Catholic (Butte, MT)
The LIONS now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host East Helena for a game on Thursday, April 3. Lockwood will face a Vigilantes squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT). The Vigilantes record now stands at 0-2.
