The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) and the visiting Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ), observed Summit's baseball squad nip Brearley by a final score of 7-6.

With the triumph, Summit moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league contest on Monday, March 30. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Bears now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a UCC - Mountain battle on Tuesday, March 31. Brearley will face a Crusaders team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.
