South Carolina High School Softball - James F. Byrnes can't get by Catawba Ridge
March 29, 2023: Duncan, SC 29334 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) softball team held off the host James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, Catawba Ridge moves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Copperheads travel to York (York, SC) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Region 3 contest on Friday, March 31. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 6-5. York won 6-3 in their recent league contest against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)
In their next game, the Rebels play the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 4. James F. Byrnes will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC).
