The Gillespie Miners triumphed over the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights baseball squad by a score of 12-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Miners battle the Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 2. Gillespie will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Redskins come into the outing with a 4-5 record after their 8-3 league win over Tri-City (Buffalo, IL).
