In Wednesday's league game, the host Abington Heights Comets baseball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Scranton Knights.

The Comets (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Cougars go into the Lackawanna 1 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Valley View was overwhelmed by North Pocono (Covington Township, PA), 5-0, in a league game.

Next, the Knights play the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 game, on Friday, April 4. Scranton will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Buckhorns go into the game with a 1-3 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Honesdale (Honesdale, PA).
