Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), 5-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Scranton advances its record to 10-9 on the season. The Knights travel to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Lackawanna 1 match on Saturday, May 10. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 5-11. Scranton Prep won 6-4 in their recent league match against West Scranton (Scranton, PA)

The Trojans now have a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 1 match on Friday, May 9. North Pocono will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-8.
