Pennsylvania High School Baseball - West Scranton loses to North Pocono

North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 8-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, North Pocono advances its record to 11-4 on the season. The Trojans host Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA) to battle the Buckhorns in a Lackawanna 1 match on Saturday, May 3. The Buckhorns come into the match with a record of 4-10. Wallenpaupack Area lost 7-6 in their recent league match against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)

The Invaders now have a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abington Heights for a Lackawanna 1 match on Saturday, May 3. West Scranton will battle a Comets squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA). The Comets record now stands at 13-2.
