The Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) baseball the visiting Bayside Bears (Palm Bay, FL), 6-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wheaton Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. Merritt Island will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Bayside drops to 12-7 on the year. The Bears travel to Tradition Prep (Port St. Lucie, FL) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Tradition Prep won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Westwood (Fort Pierce, FL)
