Maryland High School Baseball - Chopticon wallops Calvert
April 2, 2025: Morganza, MD 20660 The Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) baseball trounced the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 15-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Braves now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Patuxent for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 4. Chopticon will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 14-5 league win over North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Calvert drops to 1-4 on the year. The Cavaliers host La Plata (La Plata, MD) to clash with the Warriors in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 4. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. La Plata won 17-1 in their recent league challenge against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)
