Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) and the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), saw Carlisle's baseball squad knock off Virginia Episcopal School by a count of 6-4.

Coming up next, the Chiefs play the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 5. Carlisle will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 6-5 league loss to Morehead (Eden, NC).
