Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Virginia Episcopal School upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season.

With the defeat, North Cross falls to 11-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Carlisle (Axton, VA) to battle the Chiefs in a VISAA Virginia Independent test on Thursday, May 4. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 8-6. Carlisle won 17-0 in their recent league test against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA)
