The North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 17-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders encounter the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a VISAA Virginia Independent contest, on Monday, May 1. North Cross will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Chiefs come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 24-0 league win over Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).
