Virginia High School Baseball - Covenant loses to North Cross

March 28, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22902

The Covenant Eagles baseball team (Charlottesville, VA), was overwhelmed 16-6 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA)

The Raiders now hold a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, April 3. North Cross will confront a Ospreys team coming off a 17-1 league win over Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA). The Ospreys record now stands at 5-6.

Next, the Eagles confront the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) in a VISAA Virginia Independent outing, on Friday, March 31. Covenant will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Barons go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 9-9 league Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA).
