In Thursday's league game, the visiting DeMatha Stags baseball team scored a nice 15-1 win over the Bishop Ireton Cardinals.

The Stags (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs go into the Washington Catholic game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Bishop McNamara was overwhelmed by Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 10-6, in a league game.

Next, the Cardinals play the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a Washington Catholic game, on Tuesday, April 8. Bishop Ireton will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 11-4 record after their 12-3 league loss to Gonzaga (Washington, DC).
