The Central Wildcats (Florence, AL) baseball trounced the host Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL), 16-6 in Friday's league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. Central will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 5-4 league win over Lexington (Lexington, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 14-2.

With the defeat, Hatton drops to 14-15 on the year. The Hornets host Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Area 14 challenge on Friday, April 11. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 22-9. Deshler won 21-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Rogers (Florence, AL)
