The Richmond Raiders baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 2 in the Raiders league win on Friday.

The Raiders now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Caldwell Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Richmond will play a Eagles team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.

With the defeat, Lee County drops to 7-7 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC) to play the Rampants in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Rampants go into the test with a record of 10-2. J.H. Rose won 9-4 in their recent league test against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC)
