North Carolina High School Softball - Monroe knocked off by Queen's Grant

The Queen's Grant Stallions overwhelmed the visiting Monroe Redhawks softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Stallions meet the Union Preparatory Polar Bears (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. Queen's Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record.

The Redhawks (1-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack go into the Rocky River 2A/3A challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Parkwood was routed by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
