Porter Cowboys (Brownsville, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), 10-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Porter betters its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Pace (Brownsville, TX) to battle the Vikings in a 5A Region IV District 32 bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Pace won 21-1 in their recent league bout against Donna (Donna, TX)

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Rivera will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 16-0 league loss to Mercedes (Mercedes, TX).
