In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Carson Cougars baseball team scored a nice 16-7 victory over the Central Cabarrus Vikings.

The Cougars (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Mooresville was overwhelmed by South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 3-2, in a non-league game.

The Vikings (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the game with a 10-1 record.
