The Alleghany Trojans baseball team (Sparta, NC), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Friday's league outing with the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC)

The Cardinals now hold a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Stokes for a Northwest 1A outing on Tuesday, April 9. East Wilkes will face a Vikings team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-7.

Next, the Trojans face the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a Northwest 1A outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Alleghany will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Buckin' Elks enter the outing with a 1-11 record after their 9-5 league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC).
