Louisiana High School Softball - Opelousas Catholic can't hold off Archbishop Chapelle
April 6, 2024: Opelousas, LA 70570 The Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Opelousas Catholic Vikings to 1 in the Chipmunks non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Archbishop Chapelle improves its record to 19-8 on the year. The Chipmunks host St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA) to clash with the Comets in a non-league game on Monday, April 8. The Comets come into the game with a record of 19-5. St. Charles Catholic won 8-4 in their recent non-league game against Sumner (Kentwood, LA)
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 9. Opelousas Catholic will attempt to improve on its 21-6 season record.
