The Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) softball the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), 6-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bears (14-15) will now prepare for their bout against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 8-14 record. In their last bout, Northridge was routed by Sulligent (Sulligent, AL), 6-5, in a non-league bout.
