April 13, 2024: Vernon, AL 35592 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Lamar County Bulldogs softball team scored a close 1-0 win over the South Lamar Stallions.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a 2A Area 7 outing, on Monday, April 15. Lamar County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-18 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 5-9 record after their 14-10 non-league loss to University Charter (Livingston, AL).
The Stallions (6-16) will now prepare for their outing against Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league outing with a 13-12 record.
