West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Vardaman Rams (Vardaman, MS), 9-3 in a league test.

With the win, West Union upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, April 12. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 7-10.

With the defeat, Vardaman falls to 17-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Houlka (Houlka, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-14. Houlka lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Wheeler (Wheeler, MS)
